For some years now, the Mare Nostrum restaurant has offered artisan desserts made with the best products on the market, the desserts are offered in the cake cart.

The season of the Tatin cake, or apple cake, is just now beginning, a French classic that we love. The base of the cake is made of flour, butter, egg and a little sugar, caramelized apples are of the pippin type. Legend tells us that the Tatin cake was created by accident in the ‘Hotel Tatin’ at Lamotte- Beuvron France at 1889 , the place from which the name is derived.
